The patience of God is unmatched. In the Book of Ezekiel 18:23, he says; ‘Do I derive pleasure in the death of a wicked person and not rather that he should turn away from evil and live?’ he is aware of the operations of the enemy in the lives of some of his children, yet the offers them time to return to him. How then do we end up so impatient with one another? How quick we are to pass harsh judgements on other and condemn them! How quick we are to expect instant results when we pray! How quick we are to seek instant pleasure when we fall in love! We demand quick solutions to problems, showing our want of patience.
